I got my hair done at 1 today. Blonde/light brown from dark brown. Would it fade the color faster or anything if I shower tonight?

You're not suppose to wash it until the next day. I'm not sure if it will make it fade or not. I color my own hair and I don't wash it until the next morning.

The longer you wait the longer the color will stay in... I usually put on a baseball cap and then wash it not the next day, but the day after that...

No...just use the conditioner for about 2 days! Your hair needs the natural oils after colouring it!

They usually recommend that you wait 48 hours. Maybe the color has to set.

dont wash after colouring as it open the cuticle more allowing colour to drop back out. only use conditioner, it closes the cuticle holding it in

You have to wait untill it is alittle dry in your hair

no, it does not matter. use a shampoo made for treated hair.
