Hello, I am a colorist in the midwest. I have a 15-55 year old core group. I latley feel that my creativity in coloring has been waining. I came from a bigger city to smallish town and don't get the chance to color outside the box much here. Ideas????

I took my 17 year old daughter to have her hair TRIMMED at a salon I had been too a few times before & was satisfied with. Being her hair was down past her waist, she almost never gets a "haircut". We told the lady she was having her senior pics taken the next day, and only wanted her to "TRIM" the ends...to clean it up a little, but not look like it was just cut. I went out of the salon, feeling confidant the lady understood. I came back less than 10 minutes later, my daughter is sitting there, tears running down her cheeks, and the front portion of her hair on just one side of her face was now about chin length, from the front back to right in front of her ear!! She had cut about 12 inches off! When I asked her what the hell she was doing she replied, "It will look cute, kinda feathery"! Well, I basically told the lady off, found another place and they managed to save most of the length. I feel like the first lady needs to be held responsible for this , what can I do?
