Depends on how long your hair is. Though my best friend is a beautician and I straighten my hair all the time.........every 3 months. It only costs me the price of perm..(since my hair is also dyed I use the one for color treated hair). Then my friend will come down and she does the reverse of the perm. No rods, just put in the stuff and comb your hair over and over. Then rinse and put in the neutralizer.

Depends on hair length and the product. For me I have shoulder lenght hair and it cost me $9.95 for a relaxer kit from the beauty supply store.

Mine was $100.

When I got it done it wasn't like a stick. It's really shiny and smooth and no knots. Plus it was straight. VERY nice. I love it.

If it starts growing out just get it done again.
