Hair - August 2006

I dont know what I am doing wrong ,but my hair is falling out! I wash my hair once a day and then I blow dry it and thats it. When my hair is wet thats when it's bad cause I can grab a hand of hair. When I brush it I have hair all over my brush. I use Herbal Essence Shampoo. It has Aloe Vera in it I thought maybe this would help! Could it be the shampoo. I dont know! What do you think?

Also what are some good leave in conditioners that also wont leave my hair greasy and some good protection sprays that I can put in my hair to protect it for when I straighten my hair?

I have medium to dark brown hair and last night I decided I wanted to be blonde. I now look like a banana. Does anyone have any ideas what I can do to make it look more natural. I used Clairol Born Blonde and I am wondering if a toning product would help.

after i get done straighten my hair my hair starts to get wavy at my roots because i have really wavy hair. how can i get waves out of my hair because i already tried putting in my hair but it did nit work. straightening my hair is not going to work because when i am in the heat and i start to sweat my hair starts to get wavy.

After changing my hair color 3 times this summer, I ended w/dry&damaged hair and lost a lot of hair. I have been trying many products to cure that.
I have just used Brazil Nuts (the body shop) and my hair got softer and felt more like human hair for the first time. It looked like doll's hair before.
But I still have very little and thin hair. I have been going to a dermotolagist and all of blood tests are OK. She says I must use vitamins and not have a hair cut or dye for a while and it would be OK. Do you think she is right? I am really feeling miserable. I asked to use Rogaine. My dermotogist tells it is not required.
But I am still losing a lot of hair. What can I do? How long does it take for hair to repair itself and grow (if it grows of course)?
PLEASE help!!!!

I used the flaming red one but it was more orange (pretty) but I want a redder red..... they are hard to find now in stores..... the "rich auburn true red" "RUBY RUSH" is the one im looking at noe... has anyone used it or know the results? (starting with blonde)

I have very very dark brown hair and I would like to get it coloured, maybe highlights or something, im not sure. Has anyone got any suggestions on what i could do or colours that would look good? my hair gets wavy when i put gel and stuff in it and after i get out the shower from washing my hair. i tried getting perms but they did not work i tried almost everything that i can think of. is there something out there that i can do that i did not think of already or tried.

how does a hot oil treatment work??

it leaves behind a oily film and residue, that i tried to rinse offa nd it didnt help.

how long does the oilyness last, cuz i look sick and dirty and oily .

What brand would be best for covering gray? My hair is starting to get gray all around the hairline. I'm thinking about getting a frost kit, to just streak it. But I'm also thinking about trying to leave it at my natural color (dark brown). Any recommendations?

A few years ago I had dark auburn hair but I thought I wanted to be blond. I went to a stylist and got it done and it looked really good. Yesterday I decided I was tired of being blond so I went to Walmart and got a dark blonde color which I thought would be a start to getting my hair back to my natural color. Wrong!!!!! Now my hair is a grayish green color and it is below my shoulders. I don't know if I should try to redo it myself or spend a fortune and go back to my stylist. I need help!
