Did you know you're supposed to wash your hair after a hot oil treatment?

Your hair obviously has enough natural oils in it or perhaps it is thin and the weight of the oil is weighing it down. I would suggest a good conditioner, put it on from the top of your ears down, this should give you the conditioning that you need and not add any excess oils to the crown of your head which is where the majority of natural oils come from.

I hope this helps.

after ur hot oil treatment, relax for a bit and let ur hair absorb the goodness of the oil. Then, shampoo off oil with warm water.U could apply a conditioner if u want to,but 2tablespoons of lemon juice or vinegar mixed in a litre of water,is an excellent conditioner than takes care of excessive hair oiliness, while imparting a rich gloss to ur tresses.

If your hair is oily then you select thin oil. Use a suitable selection. Give soft massage and keep it for few minutes only(5-15). After that use shampoo two times. The first shampoo clear of the excess oil from hair and next it will balance with your scalp.

You shouldn't use more than the recommended amount, and not more than twice a week - if you have *very* dry hair. I have dry, curly hair and I use hot oil about once a month, in the shower.

If you have fine hair, or thin hair, it's likely to be more powerful and so you should use less.
