The best way is to get a straight perm. The more common type of straight perm the hairstylist uses light plastic boards instead of curlers. There is a new kind of perm...I don't remember the name but it is a Japanese method. That one is expensive but works better than the traditional kind.

Lots of ways of doing this. First blow dry your hair straight using a sleek and straight creme to do this. Then finish off the job using straighteners (and I know this sounds like an ad but GHD ones work amazingly and really do straighten and it lasts too. It's important to use a heat protection spray cos it does help the hair to keep the shape you told it to. Then Spray hairspray lightly over your hair and gor over it one more time quickly with the straighteners. This should work. If you still have problems then use a gel/creme that is designed to keep the hair straight. I use Superdrugs Expertise control and shine creme.

If all this fails, then consider getting your hair chemically straightened, but I would do that as a last resort.
