ok so like about 4 months ago i died my hair reaaaalllly light blonde, now my roots are long and i wanted to die my natural color back and never die my hair again. when i got the color that looked a lot like my roots, i used a couple test strands and didnt die my roots, but when it was finished it turned out gray..... ******* gray. it looks opposite form the box. so im wondering if i should just go do it pro or myself again and do a browner color. i was wondering how the profesional ppl would do it, if they would bleach my hair first then dye it back to my natural color (i tried doing that once and it turned out yellow, and 175 dollars.....) so do they always bleach it first before putting the color in? it is gray and i want to add a little brown.

i wanna punk-ish look but i dont wanna shave my hair or do anything weird with it, so it can still look nice when i want it to. but during the day i want something interestingly punk-ish. sooo i wanna try a fauxhawk. what are some other ways besides a fauxhawk and dying hair to get a punk-ish look?

When I was young I always wanted to have purple hair, but my parents would never let me. I always swore I'd be the parent who would let my children express themselves more fully than my parents ever did. Now that my youngest actually wants to have blue hair I'm very divided. I'm leaning towards letting him. Is that OK for him or am I only letting him because I wasn't allowed.

I see other girls at my school that wear their hair straight one day and the next day its curly and im tired of straigtning my hair everyday. My question is not really what products work best (thought that would be a bonus), but really the technique and such. I have tried putting moose in my hair after i take a shower but its starts to get poofy after my hair dries. I really would appreciate anything.
