i get kind of lazy and its always curling back when i blow dry it...its not working!!!

I have really straight hair, it is also really thin. I've tried braiding it and sleeping in the braids, but the waves don't last. I'd like to make it wavy for the whole day, but I don't want to have to go to a salon or anything. Anybody know of anything that can help?

I have fine, straight hair that is kind of thick at the same time. I also have naturally blonde hair that is easily darkened by product residue. I have been using sheer blonde's highlight activating shampoo and thermasilk's volumizing conditioner for a couple of years with good results, but suddenly my hair feels like I have a ton of product buildup in it and it gets worse every time I shampoo. I'm looking for a shampoo and conditioner that will get rid of this gunk and leave my hair shiny. Cheaper is always better, but I'm willing to pay for salon products if I need to. Please help me! What should I buy?

Some people have beautiful hair that grows fast too, mine isn't like that!
I don't put anything in my hair to damage it, I rarelly dry it/straighten it,I put conditioner.... I eat right.. lol I don't eat a lot of junk food I mean!
I don't get it why does it get damaged like that, my hair isn't awful, but it's not great either.
