Mine's naturally in between. More brunette in winter, dark blonde in summer. It's really annoying.

Why not try blonde one month and when it starts to grow out then try brunette.I am now a red head and I have hair to my shoulders. I have had blonde and brunette hair. It's fun doing different colors.If you take care of your hair and get the ends cut often then it shouldn't damage your hair.I only dye every 4 or 5 months.Good luck
