it depends. personally, i like having a size 4 (with clippers) on top, a size one on the the side, and then all you have to do is put it on side 2 or 3 where the two sizes meet. sorry i dont give the best instructions...but hope i helped anyways.

I'm curious to see a good answer on this as well!!! If I google haircuts, all I get is links to videos or books to buy....Haircutting is a best kept secret...

I've been cutting hair as a novice on the men in my life for 10 years, but the fade is something I've never been able to do....

YOU don't ....go to a professional. You have to know how to hold the clippers first of all and then there is a whole knowledge experience thing in order to do it correctly and anyway it's only about 20 bucks to get it...........why ruin your hair and have to have it cut anyway?

depends....what kinda fade, high fade, low fade, bald fade, etc...if i were u i would get it done at a barber shop.
