People make fun of my hair?

A lot of people at school make fun of me because I have red hair. I've changed the style of it many times but i still get made fun of. Does anyone have any idea on how/ what to tell them about my hair color?

If you have some good friends ask if they would dye their hair red. At least that way there would be less of a reason to be made fun of because there are other people with red hair so you wouldn't stand out as much.

Tell them it's natural, Listen don't' worry so much, it won't last forever and it's probably on of your most redeeming qualities. If it helps I'm a senior in high and my first two years sucked but they got better. Try not to make it so much about your hair and more about your personality people will see but give them time. Hang in there you'll be fine.

P.S. I know some pretty cute red heads so it's not always a bad thing.

There was a new study done recently that red heads actually have more fun (last week on the radio). I think red with blonde streaks is hot! People who make fun of other people are insecure themselves!

I don't know what to tell them, well Jerks can help, but you know why I love red hair on people, they look so cool, natural ones are awesome, so don't worry about it, being different is a gift from God. I wish I were a red hair one.

they shouldn't. i have cool friends with red hair and of course they get called carrot top every now and then but just as a joke. when people pick out other peoples flaws they want everyone focused on that persons flaws so people dont notice that own persons flaws. if that makes any sense.

Really? Usually when somebody asks the question, "Do gentlement really prefer blondes (over brunettes)?" some fella responds, "Neither! Redheads rule!" or something like that.

that its natural. if you seem insecure about your hair other people will read that. if you like it and cool with your red hair the comments that other people will make will not be as painfull. and think of it this way, you have red hair. you are uniuqe. they probably have brown, black, or blond hair which would not be special.

oh you just have to ignore them and remember there are people who are made fun of for far worse things. like wearing braces on their legs and at the same time much worse things. just remember people who have to make fun of other people really dont like themselves at all and they are the sad ones,. stay strong and do not dye your hair! just love yourself, because you are you!!! oh and be glad you are not them!!!

Don't change ANYthing about yourself. Screw the haters!
Usually people that make fun of someone else, have something they hate about themselves and they think by making fun of someone else, it makes them look/feel better.
