I'm only 14, but I'm worried that I might have male pattern baldness when I'm older. It runs through my dad's side of the family, but not my mum's, and I really want to know whether I've inherited it or not. I'm really worried, because my dad has terrible hair, and I don't want to end up like him.

If there aren't any ways of detecting male pattern baldness early, then please tell me when the symptoms start happening and how I can prevent male pattern baldness.

i usually straighten it (GHD, works a treat), but coming up to summer i want to be able to just leave it.. i LOVE how my hair looks when wet, messy curls and not boofy, but as it dries, it goes insanely boofy etc, i want to know if there are any products that i can use that will make my hair stay how it looks when its wet?! if that's possible!!!! without losing the curl (so i can swim and not worry etc!!)

my hair gets really frizzy and ugly when it gets wet or in contact with humidity...what can i do and use so that my hair doesnt get like that.....FYI i do straighten and i use sleek and shine fructis the serum and the shampoo and conditioner is there something better no matter what price

I work for great clips and I have been a licenced cosmetologist for 8 years. I have worked at other "high end" shops. I choose to work there because I make really good money. I also have many clients that have followed me there from other shops. I hear all these rumors that it is a bad place to get your haircut. Let me tell you, I've seen many bad cuts that have been cut at a so called "high end" shops. They are not all good. You risk it anywhere you go. I just want some opinions on how others feel about the great clips shops.

i just got a body wave put in, but the problem is is that its WAY to kinky, i mean WAAAY to kinky, so i was wondering if washing my hair would loosen it, i told her i just wanted wave and now i have a massive amount of curls, i know youre not supposed to wet it for 2 days but i need the curls to relax or im gonna go crazy!

I have naturally auburn hair. I wanted to dye it so it would be a shade brighter, because my natural color was fading. I let my mom pick a hair dye color (I know bad idea) and now my hair is purplish-red-brown-black. I want my natural color back really badly, school pictures are in two days! Please help me.
