You will need to see your stylist for this one...reversing a perm is tricky business if your concerned about the health of your hair. If I were your stylist I would take 2 things into consideration. First, how long has it been since you had the perm. Second, can your hair withold another treatment. ALWAYS wait 2 weeks between chemical services, just to give your hair and scalp a break. Been more than 2 weeks? then what shape is your hair in? only your stylist can tell you for sure...ask her to do a porosity, elasticity AND strand test. A porosity test is basically where she runs her finger over a strand of your hair from end to scalp to see how open the cuticle is...the rougher the feel the more open the cuticle. A elasticity test is taking a hair and pulling it until it breaks...the longer it takes to break, the better. A stand test (most important) is actually where she will take a small stand of your hair (cut from the middle of the back of your head, no one will notice trust me) and apply the perm solution just to see with it will do. If it shrivels up and turns to mush a "reverse perm" is a no go. Good Luck

Go 2 a salon & they will comb another perm through it. Don't try it yourself because u can't keep ur hair perfectly smooth & straight while ur combing it yourself. If u still choose 2 do it yourself u need to use a wide toothed comb & only for 10min (or less). If u don't keep ur hair perfectly smooth & straight the whole time u will still have wave. Don't get a chemical relaxer/straightener! U don't need anything that strong. Those r 4 naturally curly hair.

If you got it recently, give it a week. It might just be shock but if you really hate it then you can get a reverse perm (chemical straigtening) BUT it is highly damaging and it will be very hard finding stylist to do it for you. You can invest in a good hair straightener and straighten your hair. Or you can grow it out.

You could either go to the store get a straightener and straighten it or get it straightened by a hairdresser. If you just got it within 24 hours, just wash it. First get a few other peoples comments first, if they like it and think it looks nice, you may want to keep your hair. If most people like it, I think you should keep it, I mean, what a waste of money if you just got rid of it.

Go to the store and get a perm kit...
Take it and have someone comb it through your hair (its going to take a while) until your hair is straight. Its what we call a reverse perm. No need to go to the hairdressers to get it done!
