Try the John Frieda line of shampoo and conditioner.

I use their leave in conditioner that really cuts down on the frizz.

It is a little more expensive - in the $10 dollar range but a small amount is all you need. I have used it without any other styling products and have been in very humid weather without my hair getting frizzy.

Is your hair oily or dry? And do you blow dry your hair a lot? And how often do you wash your hair? All this stuff makes a big difference to the condition of your hair. Next time youre at the hairdresser ask them what condition your hair is in and if they have any tips.

Try experimenting with different products. Theres plenty of cheaper options to try before resorting to the ridiculously expensive ones. John Frieda make great straightening and anti-frizz products that wont break the bank.

Rub some straightening serum through your hair right after washing/styling... and keep a straightening serum in your handbag for touch ups during the day.

I like Paul Mitchell's The Conditioner. You can leave it in. It works especially well for thick hair. It sounds like your doing just about everything you can. You may want to add a straightening cream or spray to hold your style..Fortunately, summer is almost over and for most of us..the frizz will go away. I use gels but I don't straighten much, because I'm afraid that heat does more harm than good in the long run. Good Luck!

Theres not much more you can do! I have the same problem. When I know it's going to rain or be super humid I leave my hair curly w/ curling moose from pantene pro-v. It works the best for me. fructis mousse also works good. You could try hair spray, but then it's wouldn't stay soft. Sorry I couldn't help more!

I have heard that Coconut Oil is very good for dry hair; use it as a conditioner or put some on dry hair and comb it through. You can find this at a health food store.

If you have virgin coconut oil at home, you can use this. Put it on hair and leave it for at least 30 minutes (You can do this at least 3x a day). Then rinse it off using your shampoo. The VCO can act as your hair lengthener and as your conditioner. :) Goodluck! :) (Look at my avatar if you want to see how well VCO works =P)

Try using alcohol-free gel from Visible Changes. They have some other stuff too but don't know the name of it. Do you have a Chi? That's the best straightener ever!!!

You could always goto a beauty supply store and buy that chemical straightner product, or have a salon put it in, that's what some of my friends have done.
