It start less than a month. I know that one of the causes can be pregnancy or recent delivery but is not my case. What may be causing me the loss of the hair and what I can use to stop it? Thanks in advance!

i've got long long hair( lower back)
its really nice a pretty, but very hard to work with
its shiney, and has some volume to it but i just dont know what to do with it. Its light brown with some blonde in it
i can straighten, curl, and do anything with it, im just not sure how.
it always seems to wind up tied up in a bun on my head
i just need help!

what can i use in my hair that will hold it down but at the same make it smooth and sleek instead of hard and crisyp i have that really REALLY curly hair (mixed with black white and hispanic) so my hair is outrageously curly and when like i wear a side pony tail with a side part and like a peice slanted above my eye u kno what i mean right the gel doesnt do nuthin the curls just pop right up any suggestions for me or am i screwed???

I have curly hair that would actually be kinda long, but my curls are very springy and bounce back up to my head. I want my curls to be longer and not soo tight. Any ideas? Also, everytime I straighten my hair with an iron, my hair does not stay straight for very long. Any ways to make my hair dead straight for just a day?

it takes me sooooo long to straighten my hair. i first have to blow dry it, which takes bout 15-20 mins. then, i use the flat iron, and since my hair is thick, it takes maybe a little more than an hour. now that totals up to about an hour n a half, which is a long amount of time. i was just wondering are there any other quicker ways to straighten hair?

I'm a black male letting my hair grow out. I'm not a big fan of twist, cornrows, or anything like that. I was wondering if anyone has any good styles. I also wanted to know what would happen if you brushed or combed and afro down. Would it look really nice or at least decent. If anyone has pics of them combing or brushing down their afro, please post them to see if I like it. Oh, my mom wouldn't like it if I straightened my hair so...umm...I'm not sure if there are other styles out there, but thanks for those of you who answer.

I have short strawberry-blonde, auburn hair. I'm thinking of going blonde a la Marilyn Monroe, but I can't really afford it. I mixed some peroxide with some conditioner and left it on a strand for forty minutes, but there was no effect. How do you blonde your own hair?
