Hair - August 2006

It was always fine, but now it has just started flipping out on the sides! I tried jelling it, spraying it, etc, it just keeps flipping out again! And the worst part is, one side is out more than the other.

What is up??? It never used to do this...

When i go to the barber, what should i ask for this hairstyle? cause i don't feel comfortable bringing pictures around and then showing it to a barber so they can do it.

Ive had it layered to minimize the ringlets but id love to be able to pin parts or all of it up with bobby pins or something but when i try it just kinda flops out, wats the secret hairdressers use for pinning up hair like mine without making it stiff as cardboard with hairspray

so if its true...
what is it about the shower that dries your hair: the water or the shampoo or both?
if its just the shampoo so would only using conditioner be better (and maybe shampooing only like twice or three times a week instead of everyday)???

whenever i look myself in the mirror or whenever i go out..i feel so left behind,old,ugly and dull..for no reason,they always says that my mom looks more younger and beautiful.i take this thing as something that should drive me to do something to my image..for a change..a friend of mine said that im not ugly,its just that i don't know how to groom myself properly..i wanna start with my hair..if got natural deep black hair but its kinky and wavy.everytime i have to go out,i have to blow dry and staighten it..especially the front w/c is really wavy.are there any styles w/c might suit me? i got a round shape face and a tan skin color..i opt to look nicer.some say i've got this chinese and indian mix in my appearance but i look more of an indian..i should just know how to harness the beauty i have,my friend told me..any suggestions?

Hi, I asked another question and had a question for more info. Will vinager remove the staining that is already in your hair? How many times do you have to do it? If done once a week will it keep the red out? Just rinse the vinager solution in your hair, let it sit for how long??

I have brown hair that goes past my shoulders and its fine, wavy, and frizzy. I also have a heart-shaped face. I'm thinking of getting some layers done and getting a spiral perm. Should I get a Perm and will it make my hair more frizzy? How long does a Spiral Perm last?

I just got my haircut and it's a little short for me (just 3-4 inches below the shoulder). How do I make it grow faster? And in the meantime, how can I style this length of hair (that is also low-maintenance)?
