I have brown hair that goes past my shoulders and its fine, wavy, and frizzy. I also have a heart-shaped face. I'm thinking of getting some layers done and getting a spiral perm. Should I get a Perm and will it make my hair more frizzy? How long does a Spiral Perm last?

If a perm is not for me, does anyone have any other hairstyles or tips I should try that is fairly easy to maintain?

The perm will make your hair more frizzy...be careful.

A perm is a great way to define texture in your hair, but it is probably the most damaging thing you could do. It is a lot of maintenance, but if you truly want curly hair, then gor for it. I woudl recommend trying somethign less permanent, so that you coudl have a wider variety of styling decisons. Layers work great with your shape face, so instead of buying a perm, put you rmoney towards some great irons (curlers, flat irons..) and experiment!

It would damage it which means yes it probably would make it more frizzy. I got a perm a long time ago and I can't remember how long it lasted. Talk to a hairdresser, they would know.

Just my opinion, but I don't think you should get a perm. Perms frizz and damage more on fine hair.

Perms are horrifying and they went out of style in the 80's!

it depends if you've ever seen your hair curly. if you have only seen your hair the way it is naturally but just want something dfrnt, its not a good idea, but if u like UR hair curly, go for it.
