Why not try styling it differently? Try hold your head upside down when drying it, with a spritz of hair spray.
I had layers cut into mine for awhile and that worked.
I also love Zero Frizz treatment. Its not supposed to be for making fine hair full but it really works for me!

There are products on the market that are supposed to help with this problem. The premise is that a "coating" of whatever the miracle ingredient is, will thicken the hair shaft. To a certain extent this is true.
A good cut and layers will definitely help give volume. (The MOST essential part of sorting your problem). So will using the correct hairstyling techniques and grooming products.
An old trick that you can use for a special event is to wash your hair with gelatin added to your shampoo:
1 Tbspoon shampoo
Envelope gelatin
Dissolve the gelatin in a little warm water, add the shampoo and blend together well! (Don't lather the stuff, just mix it together).
Add a 1/4 cup warm water to the base mix.
Wet your hair thoroughly and lather up. Use like any shampoo. Rinse and condition. Results are impressive.
Now, there are rules with this - firstly the explanation: the gelatin does cover the hair shaft and coats it with a layer that thickens it. Your hair will shine when you've done this - the gelatin reflects light.
1.Do not DRAG a comb or brush thru' your hair, work gently and slowly. The gelatin coating will slow down the movement.
2. Do NOT do this as a daily beauty treatment for the next several years, your hair won't like it. Use it selectively.

There's no Miracle product, but layers can help make thin fine hair seem thicker. Use a volumizing shampoo can help too.

My mum has always complained of this as well and almost gave up hope. However, one night she was watching QVC and this American bloke called Michael DiCesare (or it may be DeCesare, better try both in a search) came on. My mum bought a bunch of his hair products and is now his biggest fan (seriously, she starts shaking with excitement whenever his name is mentioned). I think one of his products is called Liquifix and it seems to be excellent. I've used some of the products as well and they are fabulous (although my hair is naturally quite thick).

Why not just accept yourself the way you are? You will be a much happier person if you stop looking for ways to correct perceived flaws and just be yourself.
