how often should i do my highlights?

I like to do mine about every 2 - 3 months. Just about when I get tired of seeing my natural color coming in. I know when I could afford to get it done my hair dresser would tell me every 3 months to come in and get highlights.

If highlights are done properly there should be no visible line of demarcation as your hair grows - however your hair grows 1/2 inch a month so after 3-4 months you'll have 1.5 - 2 inches of new growth. I suggest my clients come in for an overall highlight (concentrated layers in the areas the sun would naturally get to) every 3-4 months and if they want to be a little more dramatic with certain pieces to come in 6-8 weeks for a frame. FYI - lighteners (commonly referred to as bleach) are not harder on your hair than colors that will lighten hair (oxidation dyes.) What damages hair is hydrogen peroxide - which is necessary to lighten hair. The lowest volume of hydrogen peroxide necessary to lighten hair is the best approach for keeping your locks shinny which will make your color sparkle!

Every 3-4 mths. It depends on how quickly your hair grows out. By the time u see at least 1 inch of your natural hair you know it's time to do over your highlights

whenever you see your original color of your hair grow out...my mom does ym highlights. my hair is dark brown and my highlights are BLEACH blonde..i sometimes see them growing out

I think they show up about every month or so. The find the item in the picture is my favorite!

Do as many as u want,but only 1 inch away from ur scalp...
Donot use silicon based products
And do not bleach ur hair
