i don't want to put a lot of chemicals in/on my hair, so please reccomend shampoos, etc...

I have very curly hispanic-afro hair...a combination of big waves and smaller curls, how can i make my hair grow past my shoulders (its been that length for ten years), and show some life rather than dull and puffy cause of humidity?

Okay i'm bleaching my hair and i haven't used a straigtner in a week and i've been condtioning really well. Is there anything elses I can do to prepare? Oh and I'm getting it professionally done and will it turn orange still? Is there anything i should ask the hairdresser to get to turn out a pretty blonde? And how can i touch up my roots once they grow out.... PLEASE HELP!!!

I have super straight hair, about sholder length with a little bit of layers. I got a perm before, but it didnt look good. Thats when I was 16 and I am 22 now and my hair is totally different in texture. I want curly hair that I can just scruch and go. Also, if I do decide to get one, what happens after the 3 months? Will my hair be totally frizzy? ( thats what happened before). Thanks sooo much.

I am a guy, 19, and I have long hair(past my sholders). The problem is that it is very light, thin and brittle. I also have split ends, or so I'm told. What can I do to keep from going bald. I am constantly losing hair, more then 100 strands, and my hair line appears to be receding. Does rogaine work? what else can I do to prevent going bald and get thicker stronger hair? I've tried changing shampoo's but my hair is NOT dry like other people so shampoo for hair that is NOT dry, but still thin and brittle is hard to find. Any suggestions? Please help

i dyed my hair black, a while ago, and its starting to grow out but its going very slowly, about 45% has grown out. I have thought about getting the color in my hair stripped out. Is that really bad and damaging to hair?

My hair's always been dry but recently it's gotten worse. It's curly (like a perm), dyed light brown (for a few yrs now) and thick. I'm of black and white descent if that helps.

I've invested in salon products but they do nothing for me. I've heard that Pantene Pro-V is like using ACID in your hair and your hair can fall out if you use it too much!!! So I'm stuck on what to buy now. Anything that's good for dry damaged hair is something I'd like to try. Thanks.

I hear that girls are going completely bald "down there" nowadays. I've even heard of a lot of guys doing it as well! This seems kind of pedophilic to me. As for me, I trim mine very short and shave it like a "landing strip", but I can't imagine being completely bare!!
