There's an inexpensive store called Sally's Beauty Supply and I think you can shop online too. I have really dry overprocessed hair but I've recently started using a product called Silk Elements. They make shampoo, conditioner, and styling products. Also the people that work there know a little about hair and products and so they can tell you what would be best for YOUR hair.
Another thing I might try is putting a protein pack on it (which you can buy for about $.99), wrap it in a warm towel and sit under a blow dryer for a few minutes then rinse, your hair will be sooo soft!!

You should always use a shampoo and conditioner designed for dry hair. I have dry hair too, and use Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine shampoo and conditioner, and my hair feels so soft and moisturized.
I also use a deep conditioner on my hair once a week -- Garnier Frucits Sleek & Shine Fortifying Deep Conditioner. You only have to leave it on your hair a few minutes. You can also massage coconut oil through your hair and shampoo it out the next morning. Coconut oil strengthens your hair and adds shine and moisture. You can find it at a natural food store or online.
I hope this helps! :)

I'd either get a leave in conditioner...or after I washed my hair I'd let the conditioner sit in for a while...maybe even comb the conditioner through your hair while your in the shower, and then rinse it out.

You can go to wal-mart and buy a motions oil moisturizer. apply it to your hair while it is wet and it will leave your hair soft and shiny and very smooth. Trust me it works.

Jojoba oil might work. Also, try to do some deep conditioning.

Lots of conditioner.... you could try making one of those honey and olive oil hair masks, even though they are messy and kind of gross....
