If your hair is dry maybe it is the type of water you wash it in because too much chlorine is bad for your hair..it could even be that you are using the wrong type of shampoo...Whaterver you do never wash your hair with Herbal Essences because that is just like using Palmolive the dish washing liquid, which makes your hair dry aswell.

My hair is dry, so I use Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine shampoo and conditioner. They're cheap, yet effective and moisturizing. You should also use a deep conditioner on your hair once a week. You can pick one up at a beauty supply store. The sales assistant should be able to give you some recommendations.
Or, you can use olive oil or coconut oil on your hair once a week. Coconut oil is great stuff, it adds shine and moisture. It also repairs damaged hair. Just pull it through your hair, and leave it on overnight. Shampoo it out in the morning, or leave it on for a couple of days. You can find coconut oil at a natural food store or online.
Good luck!

Definately! You need to get deeply moisturizing shampoo and then use a conditioner of the same brand. Try not to use the normal over the counter shampoo because it will eventually leave a film of wax on your hair. This makes your hair harder to cut.

I have blonde hair that is very thick, coase, dry and dull. I started using Infusium 23 shampoo, conditioner, frizz-eeze and a product by Avon called Shine. It actually works and put life back into my hair.

proper diet with loads of zinc helps.
for the dryness try putting a mixture of 1tbs of honey and 1/2 cup of full cream milk.massage it well into the scalp.leave t on for 15minutes.and rinse with mild shampoo.
for the shine try rinsing your hair with a mixture of 2 tbs of apple cider vinegar and water

I haven't tried it, but I've heard that mayonnaise (the real stuff, not Miracle Whip) is good for dry hair.
