I want to dye the ends of my hair bright pink - if they get too damaged I can cut them off :) - but am a bit confused. I thought you had to mix peroxide with powder bleach, but one website says you can mix peroxide with shampoo. Will this work, or do I need the bleach? Also, should I use 30 or 40 vol peroxide (my hair is currently a medium brown I guess, dyed it purple ages ago but it faded, naturally dark brown, but will dye it darker purple again before I bleach the ends)? Sorry it sounds so confusing! Thanks.

my friend told me not to use the same shampoo for a long time,and to change the shampoo from time to another,cuz using the same shampoo for a long time(by time it wont clean my hair)

Ok, I'm a 15 year old white male, I would like to get my left ear pierced and have a diamond stud in it but i have one problem my parents (both of them) think that boys with pierced ears are stupid - I don't think this. How can I convince them to let me get my ear pierced. Also its nearing the end of the summer holidays so it wouldn't have good healing time with school (PE) and all, ideas please. Could I also have some price ideas.

I have a question for all women out there. Are you ok with your guy not wearing underwear most of the time? I have been blessed to find a woman that is ok with it. I see so many women on the net that find it so offensive. I am a 31 year old that keeps clean. I try to stay as hygenic as possible, but I sometimes leave the inevitable "skidmarks" every once in a while. My girlfriend is fine with it and says that we will just need to wash my clothes more often. The only time I wear underwear is when wearing a suit or dress pants. Other than that, I wear jeans, cargo shorts, and soccer and basketball shorts without underwear. I love the comfort of feeling my clothes rather than being confined by underwear. I have been doing this since my early 20s without any physical problems. Never had a problem with the zipper. Most jeans and shorts (Abercrombie and American Eagle) have a piece of material to protect you from the zipper. jerry_taylor31@yahoo.com

I feel like it is really boring, because I have had this style for ages. I want it cut into a hip style, but i don't know which one, although I do want to keep it long any suggestions?
If no haircut suggestions, maybe someone could give my a suggestion on how to style it. I have:

A few gems of the conversations we have had over the past few months include:

You do know it means getting holes stabbed through your ears?
- 'ears' or 'pierced', which word do you think I am too thick to understand?

You do realise it will probably hurt a little bit?
- Of course. Metal studs being pushed through my ears is gonna hurt!

You do know you'll have to wear the studs all the time until they heal up?
If I didn't want to wear earrings I wouldn't be wanting holes in my ears.


I accept I may just be being over-protective, not wanting to let her do anything that may hurt (I felt so guilty getting her innoculated as a baby, maybe it is just an extension on that), and even if I don't let her now, she'll only do it when she is older anyway. At least at this age I can supervise her taking care of them.

Do you think I should give way on this? who knows, maybe we'll make it a family ocasion. I've never had mine done, so now might be a good time.

Make a 60's hairstyle?
i want to make a 60's hairstyle because i think it would be fun. i have tried a few styles, but they didnt work. the first on was like a giant bun on the top of my head, but my hair was too lond and i couldnt tease it. i have similar problems with the others. i have lond hair (about middle of back length) and bangs. if you know any hair styles i can use, please let me know, send me instructions too.

P.S: I can hold my bangs back with a headband if i need too

I'm having a difficut time ironing my white shirts. They look OK when I bought them, but after just one wash, they become wrinkled. If I am successful with ironing, creases appear when I use them. Any tips with white shirts/ blouses?
