How do you apply eye liner so your eyes look really slanty without looking like a raccoon?

ok here is my skincare regimen:
wash face everyday
exfoliate twice per week
mousturize daily
tinted mousturizer

my problem is my face always looks dead! how do I make it look brighter and more dewy and fresh! i dont want to go out and buy expensive stufff, home remedies are the best for me. SOO please help!

I have caucaison hair to the middle of my back and I want something funky and completely different for me. Normally I just chop off all my hair, bob it and blunt cut the ends.
I want to get loose med dreads (not braids, round dreads). I live in the Colunbus, Ga/Phenix City, AL area and I have no idea where to go. I've been looking everywhere and most places stick to African American hair. I don't trust myself to do it myself I know they have to be tight and I don't have a clue about doing it well.
Anyone have any suggestions for someone good? -I think I can pull it off but I don't want to go somewhere bad and look like a jackass.
PS Don't get political on me, I don't give a crap what you think I just want a good place to go.

I already know I have to wear it up in a loose bun, but does anyone know of anything that could help me stand out more? I can't put anything in it, and don't have the time or money to go to a salon.And again, it's in two days, so I really need an answer soon.

I just asked about getting your tongue pierced and i dont want to do anything that would place me in that catagorie. Sooo... Ive had my belly button and my eye brow pierced but i let them close after time. But i would get one of those again except i look butch with the eye brow piercing (sigh) so now what???

Ok the hot summer weather is here and a co-worker of mine wore knee high stretch boots today with high heel. Mind you i luv those type of boots but i think they are more for spring and fall, am i right or wrong.

Sorry, not really a question I wanted answered, just a statement for the people who say that tattoos are going to look bad when you're old and wrinkly...

Let's be real. Who is actually going to be looking at you when you're "old and wrinkly" and judging your tats? Are you going to be wearing clothing tank tops and ish when you're that old anyway? More than likely, they'll ask questions.

Shoot. If you prohibit yourself from doing something NOW because you're worried about how you'll look 60 years from now....what's the point of living?

I Feel like I'm stuck in the 30 something twilight zone!!!! I'm a size 10 (ok 12) and I have the hardest time finding clothes. I'm caught in purgatory between jr section and missy. Dillard's has some things and Ann Taylor sometimes. American Eagle appeals to my style but I feel like I look like a twenty something wannabe in their clothes! LOL

Any advice?
