I already know I have to wear it up in a loose bun, but does anyone know of anything that could help me stand out more? I can't put anything in it, and don't have the time or money to go to a salon. And again, it's in two days, so I really need an answer soon.

Jeez, I can't dye it. That would look....insane, plus I'd get in trouble...

Put it up in a high pony tail, then wrap around to form the bun and pin with hair pins. Then take a pick or narrow comb and pull down narrow strips of hair on each side of the bun and curl in tight curls and let them hang around it! Since everyone's hair has to be done basically the same and you can't wear anything in it, the only other way to stand out is to highlight your face with your makeup! Bring out your eyes....with eyeliner on top and bottom and shimmery eye shadow!

I'd recommend putting your hair in a ponytail before you bun it, separate it into two pieces, braid one, wrap them together and then twist it into a bun.
It will look interesting, and I don't think you'll get in trouble for it. Good luck with the recital.

My daughter's dance team uses fake hair. No one ever realizes that it isn't real (since it's seen from far away anyway) and it takes a LOT less work. Plus, it always behaves for you! ;-) Good luck at your recital!

Technically you're not supposed to stand out when you dance in a group. Put on heavy makeup that's all you can do. You can't put anything extra in your hair if you are told not to.

You could put more lip gloss on, and make up, and you could put glitter on your face. You could also smile big and wear ribbons and stuff. GOOD LUCK!

Unless you have a solo, you are not supposed to stand out.
Do not anger your instructor.
