I don't hate it, but I hate the status symbol that it is. I agree that it is insanely expensive, but some of the things are cute. I only have 3 tops from Hollister because I think that it is ridiculous that girls wear Hollister clothes top to bottom everywhere. I also think that it doesn't promote a good level of self confidence. I am about 5'2'', and under 100lbs. Everywhere I go to shop, I am an xs and sizes around there. When I go to Hollister, I have to wear a Medium. Everyone is amazed that I don't wear an extra small there, and it is actually really offensive. Their clothes are way to small for a self respecting girl to wear, and I don't appreciate it one bit.

I agree, there's nothing fashionable in a tank top with 'Hollister' written across the top. I'm not going to pay that much money to be a walking Hollister advertisement. At least we don't have it here in Canada =). I for one, like Forever 21. Nobody has it because it's only in the US. Plus it's cheap.

Plus, you shouldn't use gay in that form. It's very inconsiderate.

I don't think i would describe hollister as emo, however I don't like to shop there. I find that theresizes are too small (yes I got some junk in da trunk) and clothes too expensive.

I like it, but only because my parents can afford to buy me expensive clothes. I can understand what you mean though, im totally not going to shop there in college. its just too expensive for not-so-good quality clothes. Id rather spend a lot of money on clothes that wont get worn out after four washes, but its just easy to find things i like in Hollister and im a lazy shopper.

Um Hollister and forever 21 and american eagle and aeropostale and wetseal and Delias and stuff like that isn't gay or emo you hate it so you don't understand how cool it is...I think hottopic is a little emo and a lot goth. I love all those store's that I said at the top they are my favorite....my opinion so I don't hate them!!

OMG... I love Hollister ! And I know that alot of people here (or anywhere else in the world) like to shop there. If YOU dont like it then dont shop there ? Isnt that simple. No one's forcing you to ! And plus, I dont think its gay ! What so gay about it ? I mean its normal ! God, I think you're probably just jelous. Oh and if it expensive then dont buy it, EASY ! The Hollister Co i go to in my hometown, they're really racist and not good employees at all. Plus, their clothes suck.

actually hollister isn't any more exspensive than anywhere else. Abercrombie i admit is very very exspensive that is why i don't shop there but american eagle, and hollister are quite affordable and are very cute so i disagree they aren't "gay" at all, thats your personal preference

here's nothing wrong with hollister's i just dont like them i think they charge way too much and they dont even give you alot of size choices, so i stick to lacoste, ralph lauren and gap
