I don't own a curling iron, or hairspray..... I'm not sure where you're supposed to put gel.... and we don't have Moose here in SC!!!! Just DEER!!!
My problem is..... I have had long straight hair that I could "just brush", or throw into a ponytail for most of my adult life, and about two weeks ago I cut it off to my chin! (I hate it, but it's gonna grow back eventually!).....
Before I get any smarta@# answers like "grow it back"..... I need to tell you that I donated the hair I cut off to Locks of Love for cancer patients..... so it was for a good reason!
My problem now is that I haven't had hair this short for...... somewhere close to ever!!!!!!! It's too short to put in a ponytail...and I work outside! The cold weather causes this horrible static poof that I just can't conquer!!!!!
My hair is either sticking straight up in the air, or in my mouth and eyes!!!!!
I won't use hairspray or gel or stuff like that.. Any natural poof killers? HELP!!! I FEEL LIKE A POODLE!!!!

Does anyone know the term of the hair cutting style that makes your hair fuller? It's not layering. I always got my hair layered and I hated it. I went to a salon out of state one time and the girl that cut my hair said she was going to do some other style of cut instead of layering it. She said it makes it look fuller and it did. I loved it but don't remember the term she used. I want to get another haircut locally but I want to know what to tell the hairdresser to do.

I dont know what do to with my hair. I want to do somthing new with it but I can't figure out what. My hair is always no matter what I do is always frizzy and "poofy" if i brush it, and if I don't brush it then it is somewhat okay but still knotted. It seems it is always knotted even after I just brush it, and it is constantly aggitating me. It is somewhat long (about 20 inches when straightened) Any advice to make it less frizy and easy to manage without so much pain every time i brush it?
