I heard that there are two ingredients to avoid in nail polish when you have gel nails, as they will eat away at the nails, I know one of them is formaldehyde but I dont remember the other ingredient. Does anyone know what it is?

How do you make your eyes stand out more, and appear bigger, without look like too much of a try-hard? I really need to know!!
Also; I have really, really blue eyes, but in the cold weather they go grey/silver. What type of make-up do I use to make them look bigger, brighter and bluer!

My hair is long and straight. I straighten it every morning, but this hairstyle is getting old. I have tried scrunching it and curling it but neither holds for very long, the curling doesnt hold at all. My hair is very thick also. Is there anything that I can do different to my hair to make it more intresting without going to a salon or spending too much? I would greatly appreciate it if you could help me! : ) Thanks!!!

For those who keep a regular excercise regimen, how long do you wait before you return to the gym? I've been waiting as little as 5 days or so in the case of outlining, but larger areas I've waited two weeks.

Only thing is that two weeks is a long time to slack, and I'm naturally lazy (just consciously fight it a lot). I try to make up for no weight training by doing more cardiovascular, but it isn't the same.

To a certain extent I just follow the "does it hurt" test. However, sometimes it will feel fine and it isn't until I'm in the middle of a set that & move just the wrong way.

I had my hair Chemically Straightened a week and a half ago and it's already coming undone. It seems every time I wash my hair it becomes more wavey. Does anyone have any idea why this would happen- could it be the shampoo im using?

ok this is the problem, i go to a private boarding school and live in a dorm with all girls. every weekend we go to church and well its like a fashion show all the time. we cant have cars and we all go shopping at the same mall that has the same stores...(a fashionable girls WORST nitemare) so my question is how can stand out from the crowd and be unique from the rest of the girls so i wont blend in?
