Perm's can damage your hair a lot if you don't go to the right salon and take care of it afterwards. A perm is a great solution if you have thin hair. I have very thin hair, I get perms once every two years or so, and after the curl begins to loosen, I blow dry it straight and use a straightening iron. Makes my hair look five times thicker than it is. Ask you friends where they have gone for their perms if you like theirs, otherwise research salons in your area to see which would be the best for you. Good luck!

look in my opinion don't get a perm it will ruin your hair no matter what you do later on. The chemicals will make your hair unhealthy, dry, with dead ends. Plus, theres a lot of care you have to do when putting chemicals in your hair like using specials shampoos and conditioners and leave in treatments. Trust me don't do it cuz it might look pretty now but in the end it will ruin your hair.

it is a risk. some people's hair just doesn't take to a perm like others and ends up looking not-so-good. your hair would be in good condition for a perm though since it already is not chemically treated in any way. it is just something you have to try once and see if it works.

if you are unsure you probably shouldn't get a perm. try using products designed to naturally make your hair curl up. remember every one has different hair type. so theirs might look great and yours not so great. Go to a beauty supply store for a larger selection of hair products. my hair is wavy/naturally curly. with the right hair cut it curls up real nice (layered) i wash my hair and then while it is still wet i use a spritz or some kind of a styling gel. i have always experimented with my hair. i figure it will grow back (eventually) lol good luck!

go for it. Perming might sound scary but they are so advanced with technology now that there is nothing to worry about. With perms you can always reverse the process also. They have perms that will only do loose curls and no more. I think that if you try it will love it.

no ...if your hair is naturally wavy, a perm won't help much or at all. keep up with your natural hair ...you will only regret perms on day down the road. besides, in the long run, perms are unhealthy.

well perms are gorgeous but u have to be willing to take extremely good care of it and get a new one every three months. to warn u, if you ever do go back to straight hair, it will be permantly wave (not a pretty wave tho). but it is your decision!

NO!!!!

This is a chemical and your hair will not be the same afterwards unless you cut it completely off and regrow it!
