I have seen a large age range for piercings. What do you think is the age LIMIT for piercings (nose, tongue, navel) ???

Anyone who is old enough to hold a good, well-paying job should remove any sort of piercing that is not in their ear. Men should lose ear piercings at this point as well.

Unprofessional and utterly tacky,

Why should there be an age limit? If someone wants a piercing, and they're an adult (or even a responsible teen), capable of caring for it as it heals, and able to deal with it appropriately at work, school, or other situations, then why not have it done? It's not for me (beyond my pierced ears, which I've had for 34 years), but what someone else does is up to them.

the problem with piercings is once you get them they are forever. So there really can't be too old. They may have gotten them when they were young, but you don't stray young forever..... Same thing as tattoos. It's cool when your 20, but looks strange when your 80 to have a "tramp stamp."

Honey, why would there be an age limit? This is by far the weirdest question I've seen all day.

doesnt matter as long as the person gettng the piercing can handle having a hole in their body (plus its not permanent because once you take out an earring the hole eventually plugs up)

eh, I dunno, but I'm 22 and just very recently took out my belly piercings (I had two--one on top, one on bottom) and tongue ring. I've had them for several years and just got over em. Once you hit your mid 20s or so, I think it's time for them to go. Or, if they affect your career opportunities, they need to go--regardless of age.
