Eyes: How do you make them appear bigger?

Question

How do you make your eyes stand out more, and appear bigger, without look like too much of a try-hard? I really need to know!!
Also; I have really, really blue eyes, but in the cold weather they go grey/silver. What type of make-up do I use to make them look bigger, brighter and bluer!

I have really bright blue eyes too. I use Brownish/gold on my eyelids and use a black eyeliner only on the top. Then I use an eyelash curler and apply mascara and use the comb on the end of my mascara to get rid of any clumps. You can also try a light purple depending on what your wearing. ohh and don't use eyeliner on the bottom inner part because it can look really pretty but it's really bad for your eyes

Choose a mascara that has a "wide eye" effect, this means that it will lengthen and lift your lashes, whilst fanning them out so that the eyes appears both longer and wider, giving the impression that they are bigger. The application is as important as the mascara itself. Pull the wand from the tube and leave it for about one minute, this will give the mascara a chance to dry, this will help eliminate the risk of clumps. This is a tip that is used by make up artists on catwalks. If you have pale skin, apply a white eyeliner to the inside of your eye along the upper and lower lash line. This will help to eliminate redness and make the eye appear much more open and awake. If you have darker skin, choose a neutral colour such as light brown or beige. Be careful when you are applying black eyeliner, if it is not applied properly, it can make the eyes appear much smaller. Start at the outer corner of the eye and bring the line as close to the lashes as possible ( the line should stop in the centre of your pupil)

First of all, line the inner rims of your eyes with a nude-colored eyeliner to make them appear longer/wider/whatever! Next, apply a black or brown eyeliner to the bottom lashes, but not too thick otherwise you'll look emo, and that's just a little creepy. Second, apply a coating or even a second light coating of mascara, it just looks better if you have mascara with eyeliner, they kind of go hand in hand. Next, pick an eyeshadow thats looks good against blue eyes, I have brown eyes so I use a goldish color, but find someone else with blue eyes and see what they use.

On the Tyra show, Tyra and that model from Project Runway showed the audience that by applying white eyeliner to the eye makes the eyes look bigger and almosy doll like. It looked great on them. I tryed it with a really cheap eyeliner and I looked like crap.

DOING YOUR EYE LASHES. Aww. I wish I had blue eyes!
Curl your eyelashes very dramtically. And then when your done get a match and then light the rim [[ metal part ]] and then curl them again. It works really good. Then use Loreal Volumized mascara. [[ It gets chunky because of the brush. I learned if you wash it then use it it works wayyyy better. ]] I even tried it.
Get Eye liner. Apply on top and bottem. Then after you done. Get a black eye shadow dap a little brush on it and apply it where you would usually put your eyeliner. It makes it darker and last longer :]]

Brown lquid eyeliner and light purple eyeshadow i have the same color eyes dont use any blue anything on your eyes cause it makes them look grey!

Okay, so there are these make-up packets that you can buy that have colors supposedly make your eyes pop. My eyes are brown, so I got purples and chocolate colors. You get three eye shadows, eyeliner, and a mascara.
