You need to have great customer service and you cant be shy. Expect to say stupid things like "We've got spring break covered, check it out" at the door to all the customers and "have you met jake and Malaya" at the register. It is a fact that you have to be attractive. Thats the main thing they look for. Cause if you are hott guy and you tell a younger girl that a certain shirt would look good on her... she will most likely buy it. DONT wear black when you go in for an interview... wear Hollister! You pretty much DO have to wear thier clothes when you work there. You just cant wear A&F and AE if it has the logo on it that is visible. You have to wear the "colors" If you dont and your district manager walks in or if you have a secret shopper and you arent wearing the right colors... you will blow it for the whole store. Right now for "spring break" the colors for guys is white shirt with khaki pants and flip-flops. You dont have to ask what the pay is because i will tell you right now... you get 6 an hour... doesnt matter what hollister you work at or how long you work there... you will always get 6 an hour. Just be yourself when you go in to apply. also... if you have any peircings... you need to take them out... if you arent willing to take them out... you wont get the job. also no weird hair colors or styles and no facial hair. if you got any other questions just email me.

Basically, you have to fit their "look" which is Southern California/ surfer looking. What they look for in recruits are people who are MAINLY attractive and outgoing. I know that in the store I'm working for right now, they are only hiring people they are recruiting and not in high school. They need people who can work the odd hours. If you aren't recruited, try again in the summer when they'll need more people.

i dont think they really look for any exerience because i know a lot of high school people that work there. but most of the people that work there are supposed to have a certain look. even though this one girl from my school that works there is really ugly and doesnt deserve to work there (i know that sounds mean but whatever). and i think they want you to be a fast learner and you should be able to know where every thing in the store is (even though a lot of people at the hollister near me dont.) and you should be sociable and friendly to customers. i think that is basically it.

ummmmmmmm i think you should know how to spell qualifications.... yep. Sry don't mean to be rude.... Be polite and you don't really have to wear their clothing because that might make you seem like a kissa**.....yah you get my point. Be polite and respectful but also outgoing. Have a firm and assured handshake. Look the person who is talking to you in the eyes. Speak up. Don't mumble, but don't be loud and ghetto. NEVER EVER ask this question..."How much am I getting paid?" If they ask how much you expect to be paid tell them, but never ask. Say yes ma'am and yes sir. Be confident not cocky.
Hope it helps ;) ~*NICOLE*~
