the needle goes wayy too fast for you to even feel a thing. trust me. it kind of feels like a bee sting for 1/10000 of a second while the needle is going through. but when it's out you wont feel any pain at all. i got my ears pierced when i was 5 and it didn't hurt me at all. so if a 5 year old girl can take it, im positive a 13 year old boy can take it. ++ girls dont have as much of a tolerence for pain as guys do, so i think you're pretty safe. but if your parents will not let you get one, then you can't get one. maybe when you're older though. i am also 13 and the guys at my school who have an ear pierced aren't any more cuter than they would be with it not pierced. but i can't choose for you, so do whatever you want when you're older.
ps: don't get it in your right ear. gayy

Well take it from me it kind of hurts. It's kind of like a shot in your ear only it goes all the way through your ear. Sounds like it hurts but I heard it doesn't. But you probably should listen to your parents. They are probably saying no so that when your older you might change your mind about. Trust me I know how it feels. My mom said I have to wait till I'm 16 to get my second pierce in my ear. Well mom's will be mom's. But just because she's saying no now doesn't mean she'll soy no in the future.

If you want your parents to let you get your ear pierced then show them that you are responsible to take care of it. Piercings can get seriously infected if not taken care of. Also, it only feels like a slight pinch and the pain should be totaly gone within a day or two. I have had my ears pierced 6 times so I think I am right from experience:)

In my area, you have to be 16 before you can get it done without parental consent. I have two piercings in each ear and they did not hurt at all. Now getting your cartilage (at the top of your ear) hurts like hell and it takes forever to heal. I went 6 months without even being able to lay my head down on the side I had pierced.

I'm not sure why your parents aren't allowing it. But yes it does hurt of course a needle going through your ear is gonna hurt. But not very bad. Its just like a little prick and then it throbs for a few minutes.

I know this sounds like a mom answer but...
What's wrong with waiting? if you still want it when you are old enough then get it. That's why I'm waiting till I'm 40 to get a tat - I figure if I still want it then then I will want it the 2nd half of my life. What's 4 to 5 more years? You still have your whole life!
BTW, it's like a shot, hurts for a short time and could be sore for a while.

More than likely, you'll need consent from your parents.
Yes, it hurts. A metal rod is being jammed into your body. So it's gonna sting a bit.
I would wait till your parents say you can do it but I think they should chill a little. It's a tiny hole that noone can see when you take it out. It's not like a tatt that you can't remove.

well you will need your parents to sign a form and stuff but i don't think it hurts that much. I've had my ears pierced 4 times on each side and my cartilage pierced too. i usually jump when i get pierced but everyone is different.
