I've recently seen a couple of women having dyed their hair natural black...it's a colour that I love but I don't know if there is a colour like that (I've never seen it)...it is not dark brown, because it doesn't redden in the sun and it's neither black like a raven's black colour. Is there a natural black dye?

I have always had problems with maintaining long hair.. I don't want to cut it short again so I have been thinking about dreadlocks. I will be working in the healthfeild in a hospital, so I want to find a good style of dreads that are nice and neat....please help?

I got my industrial done for my birthday last week....01/31/07 and it is still extremely swolen. i dont think it is infected, but it is kind of annoying that it is still so swolen. how long will this last?
I also heard that you could clean it with the H2OCEAN spray to much. is that true? how can you tell if you a re cleaning it too much?
What are some other cleaning techniques that work well?
My piercer told me not to move the barbell. how do i clean around the top without moving it up?

A little over a decade ago at least in the black community, there were new trends all over the place. Black people were coming up with baggy pants because the holes in the pants had just went out. We were coming up with high-tops and just new trends all over the place. "What's up dog?" was are way of greeting each other. But there has been a real lack of new trends lately other than hair with braids, but even that was several years ago. Woman don't seem to need new trends because they have so many fancy things about them such as those boots they where and whatnot, that they just have enough. But maybe even having a trend is out of style now or people are just doing their own thing? I don't see many common trends amongst people anymore. I mean, the latest slang trend amongst black people is "Fo-Shizzle" and the motorcycle dance movement and even that is starting to get old. And amongst white males, they haven't even had any trend since the whole 'du-u-u-ude, right on' era of the 90s.

I wana look young at the same time look majestic as well. i used to wear close fit t-shirts & tight pants b4 marriage. i am recently married for 7 months now. When I have to wear hosiery to work I usually opt for pantyhose, but sometimes, especially with colder weather I wear tights. Problem is, they sag after just a couple hours. I never have this problem with pantyhose. I don't know if I am buying a wrong size or what (my pantyhose fit fine) Any help is appreciated!

Hello all, I have never really bought a pair of jeans before-was always too FAT!! But now after much time I would like to, I usually buy clothing according to my dress size ie size 12 trousers ect. But I notice that jeans are usually listed by waist size. Now I have measured my waist but I just don't understand how you can buy a pair of jeans by this measurement?? Surely the hips are the deciding factor? I have a fairly small waist but hips are maybe the next size up so how on earth does that work?

Which brands are considered a good fit? I'd like a really nice pair to go out in and dress up a bit. Thanks and sorry for wafflling!

i have dry thick hair , i hv been using few products but it doesnt really matter coz if they r not blowdried they dont look shiny or soft.if i dont blowdry they look dull , and rough no matter what i use , serum , gel mousse etc.its hard to blow dry or straighten as i have loads of hair and i find it hard to blowdry on my own ?what do u do if u dont have any1 to blow dry or straighten ur hair and as i mention i have thick hair ,,,
any suggestions ?
