Oh my gosh you have to check out www.womenshelp.net they have some great links for cute cheap new clothes. They talk about a great store on their home page but I can't tell you what it is - you have to check it out for yourself...its like - www.the15dollarstore.com I think. But check them out they give some other really great site links as well.

With the world market like it currently is, it is ridiculous to consider shopping in Europe when your first criteria is Cheap. The exchange rate isn't the only thing that attracts Italian's to our shores - My husband had a fit when he found out what Dolce & Gabana and Armani suits cost here, and though we split our time between Italy & the US now he hates it when I buy clothes there. (not that that stops me! thou he's right) Yes, you will time to time find deals, but don't plan to pack lite hoping to do some great shopping. Designer clothes are always more expensive over there and discount chains are non-existant. The US - Euro exchange rate is like adding on 30% anyway.

Wet Seal, Rampage, Shop Intuition.com...if you ever read any of the gossip mags like Life and Style, Us Weekly, In Touch, etc they almost always have new websites/stores that have the cheaper "replica" versions of cute, trendy stuff seen in fashion mags and on celebs. Good Luck!

You could check out some consignment shops in your area or go shopping on E-Bay. Goodwill, the Salvation Army and other thrift stores may also be sources.

On-line check: about.com, amazon, asos.com. at stores Mandees, or if you're in NY go downtown at Village, there are plenty of stores with awesome things and low prices.

h&m.
it occasionally has guest designers (the last one was viktor & rolf, and stella mccartney and lagerfeld also designed clothes for them before) and has a quick turnover rate for clothes. something you see one month wont necessarily be there the next. plus the prices are really cheap.
