A little over a decade ago at least in the black community, there were new trends all over the place. Black people were coming up with baggy pants because the holes in the pants had just went out. We were coming up with high-tops and just new trends all over the place. "What's up dog?" was are way of greeting each other. But there has been a real lack of new trends lately other than hair with braids, but even that was several years ago. Woman don't seem to need new trends because they have so many fancy things about them such as those boots they where and whatnot, that they just have enough. But maybe even having a trend is out of style now or people are just doing their own thing? I don't see many common trends amongst people anymore. I mean, the latest slang trend amongst black people is "Fo-Shizzle" and the motorcycle dance movement and even that is starting to get old. And amongst white males, they haven't even had any trend since the whole 'du-u-u-ude, right on' era of the 90s.

I agree with all the answers, but number 6 and number 7, what?
WOW @ my answer from number 6. Those aren't very common trends. That must be in your area only. I mean really, spiked hair. do you consider that a common trend amongst any group of people. Seriously?
And for answer number 7, true, but I am merely commenting on the lack of trends. My question was, are there a lack of trends among men? Not whether it's better to follow your own thing or trends?
