I was wondering
i heard that 4 fake rings we can use colorless nail polish 2 prevent it from leaving a greenish mark on ur finger
is it true?

Technically, yes.

The problem is that inexpensive jewelry is often made with metals that oxidize, in particular when they make contact with skin (and the associated salty sweat).

If you apply a coat of clear polish, this works like a lacquer, and provides a barrier between the metal and your skin, so that the chemical reaction can't happen.

Yup, it's true. You can also use clear nail polish to prevent a fake gold ring from turning silver. I have a lot of costume jewelery and each one has a coat. It also prevents fake silver jewelery from looking like pure metal or a nickel(lol). Good luck!

yep i have to do that to my rings all the time just make sure that you put nail polish on them every once in awhile so that the nail polish wont come off and change your fingers greenish

yup, just paint the inside. you might have to re-do it every now and then, as we all know nail polish chips.
