Is it true that once you go black you can never go back?

I have naturally medium brown hair. A few months ago I got this crazy idea to dye it jet black. I love the way it looks, I hate keeping it up. I am having to touch up my roots every month and it's really doing a number on my hair. I've thought about putting a lighter color on it, but the box advises against going lighter if you've previously dyed dark. Can anyone tell me what my options are besides letting it grow out? And if I need to have a professional do it, how much $$$ are we talking about?

Should I die my hair?? And what colour?

I'm 15, about 5'2... And short and 123 pounds, not fat I assure you =).. It's al muscle.. I hope.. Anyways and I'm blonde at the moment, and I'm naturally blonde.. I've never died my hair before but I'd like to.. I'm not sure what colour, I'm darker skinned in terms of blondes.. Should I stay blonde or go with brown or red?? Any ideas???

black knees?

i have these really black knee caps from falling down on the cement when i was younger. the marks are still there and i get really embarressed from wearing skirts. is the there any cure beside lemon juice and the doctor. also i have fat thighs that i want to know how to get rid of without losing more then 5 lbs.and make my stomach smaller.

Tell me have you seen this sterling silver snowman?

I work w/this lady who has a sterling silver snowman charm/pendant with a gold top hat. It is stamped .925 Mexico. Also, the snowman actually chimes/jingles. It is approximately 2-3". It was a gift to her from a friend a few years ago, so she has no clue where it came from. I don't have a pic. but does this sound familiar to anyone?

What brand of eyeshadow is the best application for the base coat on your brow bone?

I like to use cream/light beige (cover girl/ lauder) for my entire lid but when I put the other colors on, you can't really see the cream color anymore. I need something that's more noticable. Brand and name of color would be helpful.

Instead of Sun-In SPRAY, is there like a spray that makes your hair darker by spraying it in your hair and than using a blow dryer?
