I think that young girls from Asia have helped make Hello Kitty more popular. Young Japanese and other young Asian women have a great sense of style. Their style has caught on over here in the states, making Hello Kitty more popular. Hello Kitty is a great brand because the Kitty is CUTE and PINK! (the ULTIMATE girly attributes). Pretty, cute, and pink. I've also become interested in the Hello Kitty phenom. They actually make great collector's items. You can find Hello Kitty in anything from a checkbook to a handbag to a bedsheet and guitar! Pretty amazing stuff. Also, I think that Sanrio is the official retailer of Hello Kitty.

I think Dora is more in the hello kitty. Every one at my school is wearing it and I really don't get why. Its a childrens show so leave it to them.
