Egg white is scientifically known as albumen or ovalbumin. It accounts for more than 60 percent of the total weight of an egg and contains almost zero cholesterol and fat. You can easily separate egg whites from their yolks by cracking cold eggs and shifting the yolk back and forth in the shell halves a few times.

Add an egg white to your regular shampoo for a thick and glossy hair treatment. For an inexpensive facial mask beat a few egg whites until they get foamy. Then spread them over your face and let them dry. Wash off the egg white mask with cool water to reveal tighter pores and firmer, refreshed skin. Don't apply an egg white mask any more than once per week, or the skin will get used to egg white and have less effect each time. In many Asia countries, women use egg whites to whiten their faces and keep them youthful looking. After each egg white facial if you have egg white left over, it can be stored in a clean container in the refrigerator for up to one week.

That is why you should just take 2 mins or so, on the hob to poach them, it was the water that scolded him, he is lucky he never burnt his eye, sounds horrendous and he could have been blinded .Someone thought it serious enough to take him to a and e, having scalds to the face is dangerous. Microwave instructions advise to never put eggs in micro unless in a special container. Glad to hear his eye is uninjured. I cooked a shepherds pie in micro last week for my child, and left it standing on worktop for a minute, and I warned him it was hot. He rested a spoon into it, and the spoon toppled back out and flipped back onto his thigh as he was in shorts and was scalded by the hot spoon ! Now has a plaster over the blister. I wonder how many other people get scalded by microwaved foods every day in Scotland? Probably a lot more than you realise maybe this has highlighted the dangers to us all.

I've heard that whipping up a few egg whites is good for a skin mask, but I've never heard of using egg yolk. I guess it can't do much harm, but I'd never use stuff like that in your hair. Just makes a big, stinky, gooey mess.

Salt causes bloating and butter is high in calories, so flavor pasta, soups, meat, and stews with refreshing herbs, garlic, and onions instead.

People say that things like mayonaise, avacado, and eggs are good for things like your hair and skin, but I don't think its true.I think the best thing for your skin is a good quality lotion with vitamins and cocoa butter which makes your skin glow and firm.
