Ok first, love Tiesto too! I think overall it is cheaper to buy in the store. Fabric is expensive these days, but it depends on how much you need. It is also time consuming so depends on the time you have. I used to pay someone to make clothes for me but found it cheaper to buy at the store. Online is ok but I hate having to pay shipping both ways if I have to return something.

Sewing it is actually more expensive I know from experience..... espceially when material is $10 a yard and you also need buttons, snaps, zippers.......... On the internet ummm I dont think that would be the best place either because you can't try it on and make sure it fits just perfect...... You could try stores like walmart for a less expensive dress or even a thrift store......

Well, it depends on the style and fashion of the dress. If you just want a plain simple one, then SEW it. If you want a glamourous one with a lot of details, then STORE. If you want a regular, kinda fancy but not too fancy then go on E-net. LESS expensive might probably be on e-net though.

Personally, I've found the cheapest dresses online. The downside is that if you don't buy it from sites with a good reputation already, the quality is not guaranteed.

Depending on which you go to, and where, tailors may charge less or more. Small seamstresses tend to charge less, and well-known shops charge more, as you usually want a unique, hard-to-make dress from those.

Well there is a huge downside to buying clothing online-- you can't try it on. That's the good thing about buying it at the store or having it made for you. If its made specifically for you then it will fit every curve in your body.
