i'm a girl from michigan so i know i need warm ones. this question is more about style and approrpriateness. this is what i'll be doing on my trip with my boyfriend.

1. hanging with my hipster friends in brooklyn

2. sightseeing: the met, moma, museum of natural history, central park, etc.

3. broadway show (grey gardens evening performance)

4. new year's eve: early seating prix fixe dinner at a french restaurant, show at tonic, after midnight karaoke


oh yeah...we'll be taking the train there (from detroit) so advice on the best clothes to wear on a 14 hour train ride would be helpful too!

hi! my name is Anna, i go to an all girls school, and i met this one girl from another school who is soooo sexxy, and she asked me out on a date, and of course i accepted because who doesn't want to go out with a hot girl who looks just like you. now i have three outfits that i am debating on wearing the first one is a ductape dress that i made by my self, the second one is a dress that i bought at the salvo that i think is actually a night gown, but i wear it as a dress. this 'dress' is hot pink with the little mermaid on it. the third outfit is a yellow-green turtle neck dress that goes to the floor. ok so like Abercormbie and Fitch hires people based on their stores look soo does Holister etc. but like everytime i go in Victorias secret i see these unattractive women.....I applied for a job their and got an interview and didnt get hired??? idk i just thought that Victorias secret was suppose to sell sex... and promote their sexy items.... but wouldnt u think they would get more businnes if they hired pretty women as sales associates????

I've been wearing my hair the same way for over 10 yrs. and I'm tired of this look. I'm 40 yrs. old, recently divorced and want to make a change to my "boring" look; I want to update and get a more modern style. Is there a site that I can use a pic of myself to show what different styles may look like? I've seen a few styles I like but I'm not quite sure how they would look on me!

I my coworker and I have won a trip from our company (Farmers Ins) to a couple of days at the Mariott County Club Plaza. The night that we arrive there they will be having happy hour then serving us dinner. Other agents and Farmers emp. will be there. I recieved a memo today saying that the dress code for this is occasion is Christmas Casual. What is that? What do I wear? What am I not allowed to wear? My sister and I both collect designer purses. I am looking for a nice large bag or tote to give her as part of a bigger Christmas gift (the gift is going in the bag). I would like the bag to be around $50 - $75, but I'm not sure what store or designer makes one in that price range. I was thinking Gap or H&M...we both love Coach but nothing there is under $200.

So what do you think? Does anyone make a nice designer purse for under $75?
