I've been wearing my hair the same way for over 10 yrs. and I'm tired of this look. I'm 40 yrs. old, recently divorced and want to make a change to my "boring" look; I want to update and get a more modern style. Is there a site that I can use a pic of myself to show what different styles may look like? I've seen a few styles I like but I'm not quite sure how they would look on me!
Thanks for any help!!

Yes, I do want it to be age appropriate but, not "dated" looking. Something edgy and fun! Thanks to all who have answered so far....GREAT IDEAS!!! Thank you!

I would go to a day spa. There a little bit better at those kinds of things than any chain salon you'll find. If you think it's too pricey, just go there once to get the cut, then go to the cheaper places to maintain it (take a picture of you with the original cut if you love it). If your hair is now colored, let the roots grow out just enough so the stylist can see what your "virgin" hair looks/feels like. Another helpful hint: call ahead and give them info about yourself, like length of hair, age, any hair problems you have (dryness, oily, coarse, etc.) and tell them what you want (sounds to me like you want something that is modern and edgy but still age appropriate). Ask to make an appointment with their stylist that would best suit your needs. When you are there, ask the stylist to look at your facial structure and skin tone (I personally think it's good idea to not wear much makeup).

I think there's a website that allows you to take a picture of yourself and show different styles of hair cuts and colors to see if you'd like it on you. Or you could pick up Hairstyle Magazines at any Grocery store or any book store and high light the ones you want go to your stylist and he/she can tell you which would work best with your hair type. Hope that helps.

in simple terms tell her there is something slightly unusal you have continually had to objective and you're questioning if she could be keen that can assist you you detect this theory sometime. perhaps ask her to think of roughly it for an afternoon previously answering. Be arranged to field questions approximately being gay and whatnot. no longer anybody has come to words with how numerous and unusual human beings would be or how pointless it particularly is to decide those products. Edit: Yeah, what MissE suggested. it relatively is a lot extra useful suggestion.
