There are quite a few ways actually:

*Plucking (tweezing): it takes a while, but it's effective for small amounts of hair

*Nads (no heat wax... no risk of burning yourself): quick, but can lead to some reddness for a few hours after

*Nair (it's a hair removal cream): it's smelly and you run the risk of getting a chemical burn. If you do try this, be sure to test it on a small patch of skin on your arm or your leg first. That way, if you do have a reaction, you won't have a mark on your face and it'll be less noticeable.

*Electrology: a small needle is inserted into the hair follicle, and electricy is passed through it to permanently kill the hair.

*Laser: Laser is expensive and you need between 3 and 8 treatments (each 1 month apart). It's good for large areas that would otherwise take too long to remove one hair at a time.

*Bleaching ("Jolene" cream bleach): this doesn't remove the hair, but it bleaches it so that it's far less noticeable. Again, be sure to test a small patch on your arm or leg first.

*Threading: this involes rubbing two pieces of thread over the hairs and it pulls them out. It's basically the same thing as tweezing except some people find it easier (it would be a better idea to get it done at a salon).

*Shaving: this can cause stubble and/or razor burn, but despite popular belief, it actually doesn't cause the hair to grow back thicker. The hair may LOOK thicker as it's growing in (because you'll see the blunt end where the hair was cut as opposed to the thinner end of the hair), but rest assured that nothing you do to hair ABOVE the skin (i.e. trimming, shaving, bleaching, etc.) will make the hair grow back thicker. Likewise, keep in mind that whenever you pull a hair out of the hair follicle (not including electrolosis), it WILL grow back thicker and darker eventually. I hope this helps and good luck with everything!

if the hair is thin , short , light go for bleaching
if it's dark , thick go for laser esp if you're fair and you have a moustach and or chin problem
threading is a good option or waxing and it lasts longer and with better results than shaving or tweezing which may leave scars, and best done in a beauty salon
you can also go for electrolysis but it's time consuming although on the long run it gives better results than most other ways of facial hair removal except for laser therapy
if you never had facial hair and you just got it recently or you're the only girl in your family with facial hair it's better to see a dr because you may have a hormonal problem , but if it runs in your genes then it's ok don't worry about it just get rid of it
btw shaving will only give bad results keep the razor away from you esp face &neck

You can bleach it, wax it, shave it, pluck it or go through painful surgical procedures to get it removed. If it is thick and a lot of hair it may be that your body has a chemical imbalance and your body is producing more testosterone which gives you more facial hair and some hair in places where you would normally not get it. Seek consult with a doctor if it is like what I described. If not, DO NOT SHAVE OR PLUCK! bleach it but also be aware of it's content and if you develop rashes or any irritation, STOP using. Sally Hansen works well.

Hope this helped. :)

Plucking (tweezing), Shaving, Depilatory creams and Waxing are temporary hair removal methods.
Waxing usually lasts for 3 weeks, but it is painful.
Electrolysis and laser hair removal are “permanent” hair removal methods but are expensive and you have to find a trained professional, otherwise your skin could be damaged.

I've done laser hair removal. Big decrease in "hair anxiety." Spendy, but it lasts a lifetime!

You can pluck it. Are you talking about the mustache? If you shave is going to grow faster and thicker.

i would never do this personally, but you could possibly get electrolysis (electric current passed through skin that gets the hair off--painful).
