Figure out your body type and coloring, then match that up with what will flatter you the best. Then the exact outfit will depend on the reason you are getting dressed (work, a date, a wedding, beach party, etc...)

Only one rule, don't watch MTV, BET, E!, VH1, Bravo,etc. or pick up corresponding Hollywood tabloids... always dress in at least semiformal attire and don't follow trends.
