in the UK, its called "a fringe".....it is shorter hair over the forehead.

From what I understand, having bangs and having a fringe are the same thing.
The term "bangs" is the just American word.

Bangs are what hang over your forehead, some are whispy some are straight ,some are chinnesse cut short on the forhead .I my self always have had bangs ,some people hide behind there bangs,other people don't have them . this is what I know of bangs

Bangs are the little locks of hair that fall by your forhead. Girls who don't have them usually grow them out so their undistinguished with their normal hair.
