Are they used to cover hairs when you haven't shaved in awhile? Does it do a good job at it? Perhaps they make you a tad warmer? Just kinda at a loss I guess.

I'm not from India and have no idea what to wear to a friend's wedding in India. It's not a super-formal wedding, but I want something trendy and nice. I don't want to look ostentatious or stand out too much. He said wear anything, but I have no idea. Help!

I'm a woman who has really never been comfortable in skirts and dresses. I run around barefoot 24/7, and my favorite colors are black and pink. I never shave my legs (once a month is normal shave time for me-ick), and yes, I shave my underarms every other day. But, I don't wear make-up or heels, or do my hair up. I'm just comfortable in jeans, but I want my daughter to learn all the girly stuff from me (I have a very masculine mother), so she'll at least know what to do to be girly. Help Me!

Do any of you stage performers or makeup artists have suggestions on how one can turn Caucasian people into Asian people, especially the eyes? I am in a production of "Miss Saigon," and I wondered if anyone here could offer some suggestions on makeup effects. Thanks! pricewonder1975@gmail.com

If it's my eye cream, which eye cream should I switch to? (I currently use Kiehl's creamy avocado treatment.)

I also tried a couple new concealers (L'Oreal and Physicians Formula -- cheapo drugstore ones) in the last couple of days. Would expensive department store concealers be less likely to cause these bumps?

What I mean when I say “handed” is not having to work for anything etc. I feel like there are so many stuck-up young people who have never had to work for anything, because it’s all given to them. It seems like there are a lot who think of themselfs as “better” or “cooler” then other people because of what they wear, who they hangout with, what they drive, so on and so forth... when the reality is that if their parents didn’t give it all to them then they would be no greater then the people they look down on. For me, I had to work for things when I was younger so I thought twice before spending $200 on a pair of jeans. I’’m not saying there is anything wrong with having/spending money, it’’s just I think young people should obtain it for themself... Any thoughts?

I am 21 and have a pretty bad receding hair line. I have been checking into a few products at a beauty store to help restore my hair and I've also looked into some homeopathic remedies for hair loss. I've checked into a generic version of Nioxin, Tea Tree shampoo and conditioner, and some other brands as well. I was wondering if anyone with experience with this kind of thing had some advice for me. I also heard that if you use one of the hair thickening products, particularly Rogain for men shampoo, if you stopped using it, your hair would return to a worse degree than it was before you started using the shampoo. Please someone help.

I'm just wondering, and bored. If you could have any body type, what would it be? What would you change about yourself?

Okay, I'd really like to do a french manicure but my fingernails are pretty short. Mind you, it's only for a single event, so I don't plan on pursuing this for long. Is there any short term solutions to getting a nice shaped nail for a french manicure? What do women do for their weddings, when they want a nice manicure for their wedding day? There has to be a better solution for a temporary manicure, rather than the Lee Press-On's, right? Thanks!

It was definitely the cut not the color process that produced all the ends. She cut away the front bottom of my hair and even cut into my cowlick at my widows peak! Its like she texturized/thinned my thin fragile hair! (If she hadn't been so recommended, I would have been more on it...) I already use the best products and deep condition religiously. The owner of the (very expensive) salon assigned her top stylist to help me grow it out but I'm wondering if diffusing the color with highlights might help camouflage it better for the 2 years or so it will take. If only we hair disaster girls had time machines... (Did I mention I wasn't planning on getting it cut that day and only did because the colorist was so gung ho?!!!)

Im debating whether or not to cut it. Right now I have it short on the sides and back (#1) and I style the top with gel and it has the messy look.

Or I was thinking of cutting the top with a #3 and fading the sides and back.

What do you think?

like there are all shapes of faces out there: oval, square, round. my face is sort of square. is there an exercise to tone my face to change it to oval... or at least close to oval? because it's hard to get a haircut with a square face.
