well, it depends on his kind of music.
there are two popular ways of wearing jeans today. You are either wear them like a punk rocker or like a gangsta rapper or hip hop.
punk rockers wear their pants tight.
the rappers and hip hop people wear their pants loose and baggy.
I'm really not that big on the brands, I'm more of the hip hop person so I just wear my jeans loose and baggy. All i can say is if he is into rock, you can go with more of the dark blue jeans. If he listens to rap and hip hop, buy him a pair of fading/faded blue jeans or black ones.
If he does not listen to rap or rock, then I'm sorry that my previous information didn't help. I'd recommnd the baggy jeans more. their less constricting and easer to walk in.

Juicy for men. Very expensive, but worth it. John Taylor's (Bassist for Duran Duran) wife is co-founder and I believe John Taylor does some work with the men's line. I have a pair that I absolutely love.
