I'm looking for 20th/21st century sculptures made in the United States. It has to be somewhat famous, not just those that are found in shopping sites. Also, since we're going to be making a copy out of candlewax for our project in arts, please help me find those that are not too complicated. Thanks.

My brother got this kit today and it has no instruction manual. I'm not sure if you paint it right after you sculpt, if you bake it, or if you leave it overnight. If it's one of the latter two, how long do you leave/bake it for? If you bake it, what temperature?

A man was in a terrible accident, and his "manhood" was mangled and torn from his body. His doctor assured him that modern medicine could give him back his manhood, but that his insurance wouldn't cover the surgery, since it was considered cosmetic. The doctor said the cost would be $3,500 for "small, $6,500 for "medium, $14,000 for "large." The man was sure he would want a medium or large, but the doctor urged him to talk it over with his wife before he made any decision. The man called his wife on the phone and explained their options. The doctor came back into the room, and found the man looking dejected. "Well, what have the two of you decided?" asked the doctor. The man answered, "She'd rather remodel the kitchen".

Any idea how Dark Helmets mask mechanism worked? The mask is so large that it goes over the top of his head. How did his head rest inside the helmet? I have studied flight pilot helmet visors. There may be a few clues there. Any help? I make the normal white and black Spaceball helmets but now I need to recreate Rick Moranis' helmet.

Why is it that most Greek and Roman statues of naked men have survived almost intact but have their penises missing? Were they wacked off (no pun intended) by later religious zelots or Victorian prudes or was it an inheritantly weak point of the artwork?

My middle-school age son wants to use a hammer and anvil to shape some metal. I'm looking for ideas on how he start learning this art. We're both novices in this field. Any ideas, suggestions, links, references, etc. would be most beneficial. (His main ideas are to craft some spear heads, swords, other medieval weaponry - yes, I'll keep a close eye on him.)
{I may have this categorized incorrectly; just can't find a category that seems to fit....}
