You can do a "Simple Dissolution" for a few bucks.
It constitutes a divorce, but it'll be over in 30-60 days. No hassle.
Papers are available at your Courthouse for a few bucks. Fill them out, both sign, return them to the Courthouse with a small fee, a Judge signs them within the above time frame and the divorce is mailed to both.
Done!
Cannot be any disagreements or children for this. Assets, taxes, etc. must be agreed upon.
No lawyers, no sweat. No appearance in court.

Wow, I think you can do it for free within a certain amount of time..I'm not sure.. My husband just told me "maybe we should separate...what the hell does that mean" :-(
